Heating Film
Underfloor Infrared Heating Film is a very thin heat producing film that is laid under the floor covering. The film is produced using a printing technique and it works based on an electric resistance of the carbon element. Its outstanding quality and durability (with a lifespan of 45-50 years) makes it an excellent choice as a heating system.
Underfloor Infrared Heating Film can be used as a primary source of heating or as a secondary source to the currently installed system. Being extremely thin, it is suitable for existing houses and flats, since it will not noticeably change the floor level.
It can be used in a variety of spaces including houses and flats, offices, restaurants, hotels, kindergartens and even caravans. Heating film can be installed under laminate flooring, carpet, carpet tiles and linoleum.
When this heating system is turned on, it produces heat instantaneously which means it heats up the space quickly.
During the installation the film can be cut which makes it possible to be fitted and tailored exactly to the area being heated.
Heating film is available to be used with AC 230V supply.
Underfloor Infrared Heating Film is NOT designed to be used in wet areas e.g. bathrooms or shower rooms (Underfloor Heating Cable Mat should be used in those areas). When installed in conjunction with MDF Dual Board DUO, infrared heating film is suitable for carpet and vinyl floors.
